Glass and frame options

Every enclosure uses tempered safety glass. It is much stronger than ordinary glass and, if it ever breaks, it crumbles into small blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. Glass finishes:

• clear — makes a small bathroom look bigger;
• frosted — hides the shower area, good for shared bathrooms and holiday rentals;
• frosted stripe — lets light through while blurring the view.

Care in hard water and sea air

Alanya tap water is hard, so limescale builds up on glass quickly. To keep your shower looking new, squeegee the glass after each shower, clean it weekly with a mild descaler and wipe sand and deposits out of the sliding door tracks. Avoid abrasive powders and scouring pads — they scratch both the glass and the frame finish.
