Panoramic windows turn your sea view into the centrepiece of your apartment. Floor-to-ceiling windows with slim aluminium frames let in as much light as possible and all but erase the line between room and balcony. For wide openings onto a terrace, we install HS lift-and-slide door systems.
What is an HS lift-and-slide door?
HS (Hebe-Schiebe) is a lift-and-slide system. The handle first lifts the heavy sash, which then glides easily to the side. When closed, the sash lowers onto its seal — so the system is airtight and warm. Sashes can be more than 2 m wide, so the opening clears almost completely.

Things to consider
Sun. A large pane of glass on the south side heats a room up a lot. The solution is solar control glazing plus roller shutters or an awning.
Security. We fit toughened or laminated glass and burglar-resistant hardware.
Opening. Not every wall can take a huge sash — our surveyor will check the lintel and the floor.

FAQ
Won't it be cold in winter?
An insulated thermal-break profile with triple glazing retains heat as well as a regular wall with a window.
How do you clean large windows?
HS sashes can be cleaned on both sides from indoors; fixed sections are cleaned by arrangement with a service company.
Do I need approval?
If the building's façade changes, you need the management company's consent; we'll advise you on how to arrange it.
