For cafés and restaurants in Alanya, the open terrace is the main source of customers — but in winter, rain and wind it stands empty. Glazing lets you use the terrace for longer while keeping the open-air feel that tourists value so much.
Cafés most often choose frameless glazing (from €160/m²): in summer the sashes fold back against the wall and the terrace becomes open again, while closed it looks like a continuous sheet of glass. A more budget-friendly option is sliding aluminium from €130/m². For the entrance, aluminium doors from €160/m² are a good fit.
For terraces that also trade in the evening, it is important to think about guests' thermal comfort in the cooler months. Glazing retains heat from patio heaters and shields against wind from the sea, while well-placed opening sashes let you air the room quickly. Also consider how the terrace will look when open: folded sashes should not block the entrance or the aisles between tables.
Above the terrace we install retractable roofs (from €180/m²): they give shade by day and close when it rains. For closing the venue at night, roller shutters at €120/m² are ideal — they protect shop windows and glazing. Curtains (from €50/m²) and blinds (from €30/m²) complete the atmosphere inside.
We also plan access for staff and guests carefully: sashes that waiters will open dozens of times a shift must move easily and not get in the way.
Glazing commercial terraces, especially those facing the pavement, may be subject to municipal (belediye) requirements and building rules. Before ordering, we recommend checking them with your landlord or the municipality. For our part, we will prepare the design and system description you will need for approval.
A passer-by chooses a venue within a few seconds. A transparent terrace with slim profiles looks open and inviting, whereas heavy frames and cloudy plastic put people off. That is why for cafés we recommend systems with minimal profiles and clear toughened glass.
The profile colour should match the façade and interior: anthracite works well with contemporary design, white with a Mediterranean style. In the evening, a lit glazed terrace acts as a shop window and draws guests in from the street. We discuss all this during the survey and reflect it in the design.
To avoid losing revenue, installation is best scheduled for the off-season or for hours when the venue is closed. The survey and design are free, PVC windows are made at our own production facility, and the team speaks Russian, Turkish and English. We have been working since 2022, have completed more than 800 orders across Turkey and provide a warranty on products and installation.
Yes, frameless and sliding systems allow the terrace to be opened fully or partially.
It depends on the municipality and the building. We recommend checking the requirements in advance, and we will prepare the design for approval.
We try to schedule work for the off-season or outside opening hours, to disrupt the café as little as possible.
